Your bridal diet – how to lose weight for your wedding

Your wedding day is going to be one of the most important days of your life. It's the day when all eyes are upon you and only you. It's only to be expected that you will want to look as good as you can on your special day. Obviously you will want to ensure that your dress, your hair and your make up are absolutely tip top. But suppose you've put on a few pounds since your last dress fitting? You need a special, targeted bridal diet.

There is no shortage of advice out there on the Internet but very little that is designed to work in the short space of time you have left before your wedding - you'll need something that is totally targeted on one thing - getting you in shape for the big day.

What you need is a bridal diet that is simple, explicit and undemanding of your time. In the run up to your wedding you're going to be very busy, so you wan't want to get distracted by worrying about your diet and eating plan.

It is, of course, traditional to have all sorts of celebrations as the wedding draws near, hen parties with friends, hen parties with colleagues and so forth, and it's easy to pack on a pound or two without even noticing.

So, in order to lose weight for your wedding, your bridal diet needs to be clear, easy to follow and easy to incorporate into your normal routine during what is likely to be a stressful time for you.

Well, why is it so difficult to lose weight. Why do we find it so difficult to do, even when we have a very important reason to want to do it?

We need to be aware of the fact that our digestive systems developed in ecosystems where food was much, much more scarce than it is today. As a result, our digestive system is extremely efficient, extracting maximum energy from everything we swallow. Furthermore, our taste systems are designed to make us prefer to eat the things that provide us with the most energy, because, in the days before widespread food availability, these were the foods that would keep us alive. And that’s why we prefer a cream cake to a bowl of bran.

So the ideal bridal diet needs to help us overcome these natural tendencies and help us reduce our calorie intake without causing mental angst or unhelpful cravings.

And if we understand what our body is doing with the food we eat, ten at least we have a chance of implementing our weight loss plan.

As you will probably know, there are thousands of weight loss programs, courses, clubs and plans, some of which might be helpful to you, but if you only have a few weeksto go then you need a plan that is totally focused on one thing - losing a consistent amount each week in a targeted and totally focused way..

If you're looking for a highly targeted plan that will help you shed 10 pounds in just 14 days, then you can't do better than Strip That Fat - it's specifically designed to deal with short-term dieting targets and it worked wonders for my two daughters when they decided to lose a few pounds for their wedding (they had a double wedding and I can't tell you how proud it made me to see them looking so slim and beautiful on their special day).
